Kanye West is back in the news, and it’s (once again) because of the rapper’s comments on social media. Last week, West made a rant on Instagram, slamming Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, and others. The comments not only caught the attention of the general public, but also at least one celebrity. The commentary star was none other than fellow musician Ray J, who has history of him with the Kardashian family. And after seeing West’s criticism, the “Sexy Can I” singer also drew attention to the famous matriarch.
The music veteran, whose birth name is William Ray Norwood Jr., and Kim Kardashian were in a relationship in the early 2000s, during which they produced the infamous sex tape that eventually leaked to the public. The singer and media personality has shared thoughts about his ex and famous family a few times over the years. Most recently, he commented on one of Kanye West’s deleted Instagram posts. West’s post included a screenshot of a post from one of the Kardashians, which said West’s viral outbursts were stressing Kris Jenner “endlessly”. Norwood’s response was captured by page 6 and the rapper assured that Jenner had tried to “ruin” it:
What about my mother Kris? Tell people fake stories about me making black man hideous to your advantage you introduced me to Steve HIRSH you planned everything for your family and you tried to ruin me at the same time smh don’t you think all their mothers know about stress ? Or are you special huh?
The musician certainly didn’t mince words here and was equally blunt when discussing the situation of previous years. The fact that he commented on Ye’s social media post is a little surprising considering what happened earlier this year.
The sextape scandal resurfaced last spring, thanks to an episode of The Kardashians (which is available for streaming using a Hulu subscription ). During the birth, Kim Kardashian gathered her family and friends of hers and showed them a briefcase that allegedly contained a hard drive on which the sex tape was located. The star went on to say that Ye traveled to Los Angeles and got it from her ex. Ray J claimed it was “a lie” although at this point I will not go into more detail.
Next month, Ray J broke his silence assuming he had circulated the tape, saying he “never leaked anything”. She also claimed she didn’t do it due to a “deal and collaboration” between him, Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner. Aside from that alleged deal, however, the rapper’s comments would suggest that he’s actually not a fan of his mother and business woman.
That contempt seems to be the only area he and Kanye West agree on. During the tirade, West specifically called his mother for involving his ex-wife and sister, Kylie Jenner, in Playboy photo shoots. From there, the Grammy winner said he wouldn’t let the same thing happen to his two daughters, North and Chicago, with Kim.
After canceling his tirade, You said “he won’t back down” and we have the idea Ray J, who still makes money on sex tape “He has the same mentality. We’ll have to wait and see if the “One Wish” writer has more to say about the ongoing saga.
