While they often spend their time online pretending to be involved in a fight, Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds are clearly good friends. yesterday was the dead Pool The actor’s 46th birthday, so hopefully Jackman takes the opportunity to wish his friend a happy birthday, and he certainly did, in the most Wolverine way possible.
Hugh Jackman posted a short video for Twitter of himself, with a birthday cupcake, in front of some photos of Ryan Reynolds, of which at least one It was a gift for Jackman from Reynolds himself. . Hum “Happy Birthday” before letting out a big Wolverine line and trying to blow out the candle. It’s not going so well. Look.

It’s a great, fun little video, exactly the kind of thing you’d expect from Hugh Jackman for Ryan Reynolds’ birthday. Last year, for Jackman’s birthday, Reynolds made socks with his friend’s face on it. The fact that Jackman stayed true to missing the candle the first time, instead of shooting the video again, makes it even more fun.
The phrase about being “the best at what I do” was originally spoken by Wolverine in the Marvel comics, but Jackman actually repeats the quote, kind of like an Easter egg, in Origins of the X-Men: Wolverine, the movie in which Jackman and Reynolds were together and the first time Reynolds played Deadpool. The bad version of Deadpool.
It’s an appropriate date as the two are now set to play Wolverine and Deadpool together again Dead pool 3. After he officially resigned after LoganJackman was apparently convinced to return Dead pool 3. The movie is still a few years away, so we have no idea how it will work or how all of that will tie into the MCU, but I’m not sure anyone cares about continuity here.
Ryan Reynolds responded to Jackman’s video. Notably, he replied at the end of the video, mocking his friend’s apparent inability to blow out a candle, despite the fact that he apparently blamed the candle, saying …
I’ll never hurt you like that candle did.
With Dead pool 3 Along the way, we can expect the ongoing feud between Reynolds and Jackman to only get more “heated”. This pair will only increase how often you give yourself a hard time. At this point, whatever Jackman and Reynolds do together will help promote Dead pool 3. In about a year or so, when these two are on set together, it’s going to be crazy, assuming they can post content from the set without spoiling too much.
