#MeToo on everyone’s minds

The jury of this 77th edition of the festival is chaired by actress and director Greta Gerwig.
The jury is made up of French actors Omar Sy and Eva Green, American actress Lily Gladstone, Lebanese director and screenwriter Nadine Labaki, Spanish director and producer Juan Antonio Bayona, Turkish screenwriter and photographer Ebru Ceylan, Italian actor Perfrancesco Favino and the Japanese director Kore- Eda Hirokazu.

The legendary carpet was rolled out this Tuesday morning and is about to be walked on by a multitude of stars.
Regarding security, “a solid system is planned, of the same quality as in previous years, with the specificity of the international context and a level of risk also linked to the media exposure of France with the Olympic Games,” he told the AFP Benoît Huber, chief of staff of the prefect of Alpes-Maritimes.
