SCH is back. Two years after the release of his EP highwayThe Marseille rapper has just shared a new single, cannellonifirst extract from his next album JVLIVS Prequel: Giuliowhose launch is scheduled for May 31.
Before revealing this title, the artist had opted a few weeks before for a quite original promotion. Thus, SCH mysteriously appeared in a photograph on the cooking site Marmiton to illustrate a recipe called “rose cannelloni.”
Return to the origins
At the end of April, SCH announced their return to music with the release of the latest album in their series. JVLIVS, JVLIVS Prequel: Giulio, may 31. Conceived by the Marseille rapper as a trilogy, this series of successful albums includes the albums of JVLIVS (2018) and JVLIVS II (2021) immerses listeners in a mafia and criminal fantasy halfway between reality and fiction.
With this new album, SCH returns to the sources and does not continue the story. The artist will return to the genesis and childhood of his character, always with themes linked to the mafia, drugs, trafficking and violence at the center of the project.
Parallel to his musical career, SCH will also be present again on the jury for the third season of New school, a rap competition imagined by Netflix, alongside Aya Nakamura and SDM. The first episode of the show will be available on July 4 on the platform.
