“The story moved me”

It was Artus who, wanting to use the song in his film, contacted Yanns’ team. “I was told that Artus was making a film about disability and that it was a robbery story,” Yanns tells BFMTV.com.

“The ‘Clic clic pan pan’ sound came onto the market two and a half years ago and my teams and I realized that it was still in the top 100, while in France, in general, hits last between 5 and 6 months,” specifies the artist who has just released his new album titled dirty brat.

“‘Clic clic pan pan’ did everything. He did the final of ‘Dancing with the Stars’, he did ‘The Voice’, even in Belgium, he went abroad. The only thing he hadn’t done was a movie. ,” he keep going.

“The Artus teams explained the scenario to me a little, which was for a good cause, with young people with disabilities. The story moved me so when they asked me for the rights I accepted 100% everything they needed.”

“I knew the film would be popular, all the people who saw the trailer with me told me it was excellent, but I didn’t expect Clic clic pan pan to be so successful,” he confesses.

“Three weeks ago, before the film, the title played between 50,000 and 65,000 views a day, but since then it has seen between 65,000 and 100,000, so we have achieved between 30 and 50%,” the artist is happy.

And Yanns concludes: “When people go to the cinema and listen Click click scroll scroll, they leave the room, get in the car and want to listen to the music again because it cheers them up. So I’m happy for Artus because it’s a success, and for me too because he gives a second life to the title.”
