After Prince Albert II of Monaco and King Charles III, Caen-Carpiquet airport welcomed two new high-ranking personalities this Thursday, June 6, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Landings.
According to the airport’s official Facebook account, Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg were seen exiting their plane in Normandy on Wednesday night. The two Hollywood stars are expected to participate in two ceremonies in the region: the binational French-American ceremony in Colleville-sur-Mer and the international ceremony in Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer.
