An icon of American music will soon return to Paris. Singer Lionel Richie will perform on June 26, 2025 at the Accor Arena for a career retrospective. This will be their first show in France in 10 years.
“The first time I arrived with the Commodores (the group with which he began his career, editor’s note) I remember sitting under the Eiffel Tower,” he recalled to BFMTV.
“Every time (I return to Paris) I go back to the same place, I go, I sit down and I go back years,” he continued.
The Accor Arena announces that ticket pre-sale will take place this Thursday, October 24. The room’s website invites you to register to participate.
The best of the tour
Lionel Richie will perform in Paris as part of a new tour titled Say hello to successes. As the name suggests, it will see the singer perform the biggest hits of his career, from You tell me, tell me has Hello passing through brick house.
“This tour is not a job, it is more of a vacation for me,” he said. Before returning to the genesis of all nightpossibly the most iconic song in his discography, born from a conversation during a Thanksgiving dinner at a friend’s house.
“After dinner, I was going to go back to the studio and (my friend) said to me, ‘Are you coming back tonight?’ I said, ‘Dude, I think I’m going to work all night.’ , editor’s note). “It was magical.”
