Come back under the gaze of the Cambridge family photographers. George, Charlotte and Louis, the three children of Kate and William, returned to school this Thursday, September 8, at Lambrook School, a private school near Windsor, where they now live.
The scene was immortalized by the British press. Once again, Prince Louis, whose facial expressions on the balcony of Buckingham had given much to talk about last June during the jubilee of his great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, made his own. The 4-year-old has shown his desire for independence by refusing to hold his father’s hand. On the other hand, he firmly held the hand of his mother, the Duchess of Cambridge.
More freedom
The three children had done a pre-return of an afternoon the day before. They were received this Thursday by the director of the establishment in person, Jonathan Perry, who shook their hands. The Lambrook School, located in a park of more than 20 hectares, welcomes children from 3 to 13 years old. The term there costs between 5,000 and 8,000 euros, or about 62,500 euros a year, for the three children.
William and his wife Kate announced last August that they would leave central London to settle in the most bucolic neighborhood of Windsor Castle, where Queen Elizabeth II resides. A choice dictated by the interest of their children, they explained.
“They wanted to be able to give George, Charlotte and Louis a little more freedom than in central London,” said a source close to the couple, quoted by the Press Association agency.
Prince George, now 9, is third in line to the throne, followed by his sister Charlotte, 7, and young Louis, 4.
