“My courage, his shame.” On Instagram, singer Rebecca Baby of the Rock Group Lulu Van Trapp, reveals that he had been the victim of sexual assault during a concert at the CRI Festival of the Goutte in AIN on Saturday, July 26.
In its publication, since it was eliminated by Instagam, the artist explains to have descended to the well to interpret one of his songs with the public when a man suddenly is immobilized, while another takes advantage of the situation to play the breasts.
“There is one that holds my arm and let’s not let it go. And there, while I have a hand that holds my microphone and the other immobilized by this guy, another grabs my breasts. A ridiculous gesture, so fast, disgusting,” he says.
“For more than 10 years that I have been on stage, this is the first time it happens to me,” says the artist.
“I will be naked until it is normal”
In “Shock”, Rebecca Baby was evacuated in an emergency from the well. But once on stage, the singer “taken from an instinct” decides to transform this assault into a militant gesture and gets naked to finish her concert.
After his gesture, the artist says he has received a lot of public support. “Suddenly there are many girls in the front row, even children, who in front of my shirt send me hearts. Three girls also wear naked breasts. And here we are in the middle of the swearing to make the revolution,” he said.
“I will be naked until it is normal. Until your brains have used it to be sexual,” said the artist in his publication.
Despite this incident, Rebecca Baby, however, wanted to thank the safety of the Goutte CRI Festival in the ability to respond to get the singer from this “hell.”
The singer also regrets that the rock universe “arrives super late” on the issue of sexual violence, despite “represents basic liberation music.”
The organizers of the event, on the other hand, reacted in support of the artist denouncing an “unacceptable behavior” in “total contradiction with the values of the shout of the drop: respect, benevolence, inclusion and safety for all and all.”
