Words that say a lot. Ex-Miss France Alexandra Rosenfeld published a long message on Instagram on Tuesday in which he denounces the domestic violence that Jean Imbert would have inflicted, when they were in a relationship from 2013 to 2014. Not explicitly mentioning the name of the famous chef.
“He put me a whim, once. But strangely, it was not what marked me, she wrote. What damaged me was all that was close. I contemplate, the reductions, the silences, the words perfectly placed to make me doubt me, my value. It was slow, insidious … the grip. I didn’t even know it was.
And to specify: “I stayed because I loved it. I managed to leave when it turned to another. I was no longer accustomed to anything, it finally let me go.” He also accompanied his text with an image of an radiography report that mentions a “direct shock trauma” in the nose.
“Silence”
These revelations follow the publication last April of an investigation carried out by Elle magazine on domestic, psychological violence and sometimes physical committed by Jean Imbert. Four of his former partner mentioned the same grip pattern there, including a certain “eléonore”, which was none other than Alexandra Rosenfeld.
A few weeks before the publication of the article, former Miss France explains that her former complex had sent an invitation to her new “Secret Forest” restaurant in Disney. “At that time, I wanted to see a gesture of peace. A mark of elegance. But later, I understood. (…) I knew that an article came out. He had contacted several of his ex, under the pretext of taking his news.” And to conclude: “He sought to know. To anticipate. Control history.”
Miss France 2006 specified that it was then that he understood that “it was not the sympathy what he wanted”, but “silence.” “Everything has been reactivated there: this strange impression of being kindly approached … to be better stored,” he writes.
Sorority
Regarding the investigation of Elle magazine, Alexandra Rosenfeld explains: “I first refused to talk because I had exceeded all this. But I knew that they (the other former partity who testified, the editor’s note) probably should not be believed. After a great reflection, I said yes, not against him, not for revenge, but for them.” And to add: “I returned to support those who have become friends. I am not eléonore, I am Alexandra and now I speak.”
The old lady finally adds that no criminal prosecution is committed against Jean Imbert. “There is no complaint, or trial, it was more than ten years ago and even if I still have this radio (of his nose, note of the editor), which has damaged us, so how to judge it …”
