Rapper Orelsan, whose new album will be released in November, will give a concert at Chambord Castle in June 2026, organizer AZ Prod announced to AFP.
“With twelve Victoires de la Musique, Orelsan has become a key artist on the French urban scene. We are delighted that he immediately accepted our proposal,” AZ Prod director Julien Lavergne told AFP.
The concert will take place on June 26 as part of the fifth edition of the Chambord Live musical event. Orelsan succeeds Sting in 2022, Imagine Dragons in 2023, David Guetta in 2024 and Black Eyed Peas in 2025.
On tour in France in 2026
Caen-based French rapper, author, composer and director Orelsan, whose new album The headlong race will premiere on November 7, and will also begin a tour in January that should end with ten concerts at the Accor Arena in Paris in December 2026.
“Orelsan goes beyond the codes of rap to reach a much broader and multigenerational audience. The children will come with their parents and that influenced our decision to program it,” explained Julien Lavergne.
An emblem of the Renaissance, Chambord Castle has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1981. Ticket sales to the general public will begin on November 7 at 12 noon. at the event venue and at the usual points of sale.
