King Harald V of Norway, 85, has been hospitalized again due to an infection, the Royal Palace announced Monday.
On the throne for almost 32 years, the sovereign was admitted to Oslo National Hospital for a course of intravenous antibiotics that will require him to remain hospitalized “for a few days,” Palacio said in a statement.
“Her condition is stable,” the same source said.
Harald V, whose functions are essentially symbolic, has recently increased hospital stays for various health problems: Covid, knee surgery, heart surgery, respiratory conditions and infections. Today he moves with difficulty, with crutches.
