What did Chase Chrisley say about the situation with Todd and Julie Chrisley?
Savannah Chrisley, who launched her podcast, unlocked (opens in a new tab), in early October after her parents were found guilty, she recently sat down with her older brother, Chase, to talk about some of the things that have been going on with his family. After noting that fans are head to head with just about everyone in the family How are you (with both Todd and Julie say their marriage is very strong right now), wondered aloud that Chase hadn’t really talked about his issues, and said:
I don’t owe explanations to the public. I don’t need to explain how I feel to anyone except the people I love and care about. Of course, what we’ve been through is hell. It’s a terrible, terrible situation. But I have to try to find the right one, even in the darkest moments.
In early June, three weeks into the trial in Atlanta, the jury hearing the case found both parents guilty. While they are currently appealing the decision (which Chrisley’s lawyer is ‘optimistic’ approximately), have been found guilty of all charges against them, and will have to get rid of much of their luxurious possessions in order to be able to pay $17.2 million in restitution . But, even with the family’s very public lifestyle, Chase clearly hasn’t felt the need to talk about how he’s handling it all, unless it’s with his real family. He continued:
I feel like everything we’ve been through has made me appreciate things I didn’t appreciate so much in the past. It really made me think and realize who I am now as a man and who I want to be in 10 years and then 10 years and 10 years from now.
By now, Chase said he’s stopped thinking about what anyone else might say about him or his family members, and is just focusing on “making sure I’m okay.” may be there for his new bride Emmy Medders, her parents and siblings.
