It’s a new year and that means a lot of new content on streaming services. Or at least, as far as Disney+ is concerned, that means new high-profile content from major franchises. Disney+ spent the majority of 2022 betting on quality over quantity, delivering plenty of original IP content that fans loved, and it looks like 2023 will start in at least the same trend.
But of course, if you’re a fan of franchises getting new content in January, there’s nothing to be frustrated about, as there will be plenty to justify your Disney+ membership. January will see the continuation of the Willow Yes National treasure series that lasted until December. The big news of the month will be the second season of Star Wars: The Bad Lot will continue the clone wars Spin-off series with two episodes premiering January 4th.

January Return doesn’t have much more than additional episodes of bad luck Yes National treasurebut all he has is huge. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will debut on Disney+ on January 20. The movie, which found its way out despite the death of Chadwick Boseman, was a huge box office hit, so there are sure to be plenty of fans out there wanting to see it again. And anyone who hasn’t had a chance to see it will see it soon.

No one knows exactly what the rest of 2023 will hold for Disney+. We know we will see new Marvel shows, like a second season of Loki Yes covert invasion and then Star Wars, like a third season the Mandalorian and Rosario Dawson Ahsoka.
