Nominees were announced Monday for the 38th Victoires de la Musique ceremony, which will take place on February 10 at the Seine Musicale in Paris.
Stromae, who returned last year, topped the list with four nominations, including in the “Male Artist” and “Song of the Year” categories.
Bigflo and Oli as well as the trio Grand Corps Malade, Ben Mazué and Gael Faye are also nominated in the category of male artist of the year. In the “Female Artist” category, Angèle, Izïa and Pomme are named.
“Artists named in the previous edition in this category cannot compete this year in this same category unless a new album or EP is released during the Victoires de la Musique reference period,” according to the regulation.
Pierre de Maere, Lujipeka, 4Keus and Jacques compete in the Men’s Newcomer of the Year category. Mentissa, Emma Peters and November Ultra compete for the female revelation.

Five tracks are competing in the Original Song of the Year category: Heart by Clara Luciani, Fire by Juliet Armanet, hell of stroma, The search of Orelsan, and One day I will marry an angel. by Pierre de Maère.
The Victories will have to decide, for the best album of the year, by your side by Jeanne added, Comfort of Apple, Ephemeral of the trio Grand Corps Malade, Ben Mazué and Gael Faye, Crew of stroma and Ninety-five from Angela.
In the “Audiovisual Creation” category, three clips will compete: Getting old by Bigflo & Oli, children of joy of stroma and The search by Orel San. Three artists are nominated for best concert: Juliette Armanet, Clara Luciani and OrelSan.
The 38th Victory Ceremony will be broadcast on France 2 and France Inter from 9:10 p.m. and will be presented by Laury Thilleman. For the category submitted to public voting, this may be held from January 9 to February 9.
