The Mandalorian season 3 first trailer sees Mando return to Mandalore and unleash a feud with Bo-Katan

Star Wars Fans have been eagerly awaiting the return of the Mandalorianwhich launched its second season in 2020. Viewers have seen the titular bounty hunter, as well as the adorable Baby Yoda, ever since, thanks to boba fett book. But both characters will officially return to their show, and now Lucasfilm has revealed the first trailer for season three. There is a lot to see here, but some of the highlights include Mando’s trip to Mandalore and a seemingly tense situation. feud with Bo-Katan Kryze.

the trailer for the Mandalorian The third season trailer shows a somewhat dark tone for the series, as Pedro Pascal’s Din Djarin returns to Mandalore to find atonement for taking off his mask. Obviously Grogu (or Baby Yoda) is present, and it’s no surprise that the planet is desolate, thanks to the Purge decades earlier. There are some devastating but beautiful shots of the surroundings, but above all a certain person awaits the arrival of Mando.

Bo-Katan Kryze (played by Katee Sackhoff) is on the planet waiting in the throne room and doesn’t seem happy. At the end of the second season, Din Djarin claimed the dark sword from Moff Gideon, but also inadvertently deprived Kryze of the opportunity to wield the weapon. Most of her thought there would be animosity between her and Din, and that seems to be on full display here. At one point, Kryze even asks Djarin where she was during the Purge, a joke that criticizes her status as part of the race of fighters.

Of course, with Din’s return to the homeland of the ancient warrior race, he will meet many of them. The trailer also teases other Mandalorians, who seem to be on the verge of kicking asses. From the footage, it looks like these warriors will belong to different sects and possibly not Djarin, who disbanded in the first season. It would make sense, since Pedro Pascal has previously teased more new faces than returning ones.

A familiar face that appears in the footage, aside from the two central characters, is Greef Karga, played by the incomparable Carl Weathers. Last year Weathers confirmed his return for a third season and it was later reported that he would be directing an episode again. Amy Sedaris also returns as the adorable Pelli Motto, who helped Mando build his new spaceship during boba fett book.

Interestingly, one alumnus of the series who was not featured in the new footage is Giancarlo Esposito, who plays the sinister Moff Gideon. The devotee of the Galactic Empire was apparently arrested at the end of the second season.

But overall, the MandalorianIt seems that the third season will produce a series of explosive and emotional episodes. It appears that Mando and Bo-Katan are about to face the Darksaber in Mandalore, and such a fight should be a fight for eternity. Let’s hope Grogu doesn’t get hurt in the crossfire, so to speak.

the new season of the Mandalorian is configured to broadcast (opens in a new tab) in 2023, so make sure you have a Disney + membership so you can check it out.
