Prince Harry’s memoir, which was due to be published in November this year, has been delayed to a later date due to the death of Queen Elizabeth II, reports US tabloid Page Six.
The book should be published in early 2023, the time when the prince removes some potentially controversial passages. According to a source close to the file cited by the media, he plans to erase “peaks” to William, Charles and Camilla. The Queen was saved in the book: ‘He had absolute love and respect for her.’
The “definitive account” of his experiences
Announced for more than a year, this book will be “the definitive account of the experiences, adventures, losses and life lessons that made him the man he is today,” his publisher, Penguin Random House, had warned in 2021. Proceeds from the book will be donated to charity.
“It is not the prince that I have been, but the man that I have become who writes this text,” Harry said in a press release.
This still untitled book will tell the story of Harry’s youth, “his love of the military, the military service that took him to the front lines twice in Afghanistan, and the joy of being a husband and father.” This book promises to be “an honest and personal portrait” of the prince who became independent from the royal family in 2020.
