Pete Davidson, right or not, is one of the most polarizing figures in Hollywood. He has managed to stay in the spotlight with numerous projects since his departure from Saturday night live, and that’s largely because she sometimes makes headlines by dating high-profile celebrities and pissing off their ex-husbands. So, when Davidson was at the NFL Pro Bowl as a special guest, of course, many netizens heard something about him and the “69” joke that was heard on Twitter.
For those who haven’t listened, Pete Davidson’s brilliant Pro Bowl took place during the judging round of the Skills Showdown. Davidson, along with Snoop Dogg and others, was responsible for judging the best take. When the scores dropped, Davidson couldn’t help but turn the whole event into one big sex joke with him scoring:

You could say that Pete Davidson doesn’t take his job as a Pro Bowl judge seriously. At the same time, the Pro Bowl is a fun time, and Davidson hosted a super viral contest of skills using his comedy chops in obvious ways.
What you think of the role really depends on what you think of the actor, and of course there was no shortage of views on Pete Davidson in the NFL Pro Bowl. Some were okay with seeing Kim Kardashian’s ex at the event and found the whole ’69’ joke hilarious:

It’s very flattering, but Pete Davidson is like the Force Star Wars. To seek and restore balance, Darkness will rise to meet Light, and enemies likewise will rush full force at the comedian. Some couldn’t even contain their anger in front of their loved ones and had to keep watching:
Watching the awful NFL Pro Bowl shit with my mom and letting her know my irrational hatred for Pete Davidson, who is there for some reason.February 5, 2023
However, despite all the positive and negative comments, some were just curious. Pete Davidson doesn’t really have a significant connection to the Super Bowl, so why exactly did he play such a big role in the Pro Bowl? Despite all the negativity online, many people have also asked the most obvious question about it:

It’s a good question. While there’s probably a real answer to that related to her star power and attention-grabbing event that’s been scrutinized for irrelevance in recent years, there’s also a fun joke to be made here. Some have decided that Pete Davidson came to the event looking for a new girlfriend, and maybe even one married to a certain former Super Bowl champ and now on the market:

Pete Davidson has been in so many weird titles, I’m not even sure a fight with Tom Brady would move the needle much these days. That said, it’s nice to see that he had so much fun at the Pro Bowl and was able to make at least some netizens laugh while he pissed off others.
We are still waiting for Pete Davidson to come out bukis on Peacock, then get ready for his arrival in the 2023 TV lineup. Until then, we embrace this new era of “bald Pete Davidson” and are excited about what the future holds.
