More than six months have passed since then the orville Season 3 is over and the fate of Seth MacFarlane’s beloved sci-fi series is still in the air between renewal and cancellation, and for so long no one has had a clear answer as to what state of affairs. Luckily, Gossipify has received some new comments from actor Chad L. Coleman, which may be the best positive news we’ve heard about season four so far.
Gossipify’s Adam Holmes spoke with Chad L. Coleman about his time as Bruno Mannheim in superman and lawsand also asked him if he had heard of it L’Orville: new horizons. Coleman, who plays Bortus’ husband Klyden on the Hulu and Disney+ series, outlined the status of the renewal and is optimistic about the chances of it happening:
We are all in and out of the loop. We think it’s going to happen, but it’s still up in the air. There’s so much going on with all these studies that it’s like, “Well, we have to figure that out first, and then we can really decide this.” There are many things happening. Let’s hope so. Seth has a great relationship with Dana. [Walden] and with Disney, who now run it. And they said they had some promising matches, so we’ll see.
Thanks to Chad L. Coleman for giving fans the clearest explanation of what’s going on the orvilleIt’s renewal! There seems to be a lot more going on behind the scenes than deciding whether the show gets canceled or renewed, and some of that may have nothing to do with the show in particular. Coleman said he and others are optimistic that will happen, noting Seth MacFarlane’s great relationship with Dana Walden, who is the interim co-president of Disney Entertainment.
There was no news of note to report on the matter the orvilleSeason 4 renewal at some point. Rumors about the series ending with the third season surfaced before the season aired. The cast later refuted rumors that the show had no chance for renewal, but added that fans and audience interest would play a key role in the show’s renewal. Basically if you are a Orville fans, it would be the perfect time to rewatch the best episodes of the series with this Disney + membership.
Series creator and star Seth MacFarlane has been working on other projects in the meantime, but has repeatedly indicated in various ways that his passion is to continue the orville still going strong. In fact, she even recently showed off one of Planetary Union’s best ships to the US Navy in a Twitter post that should get fans laughing:
Your ships are big. We also have ships. Here is one of our boats. #TheOrville https://t.co/WtrJvBXbIe pic.twitter.com/FAQDFYbZ4jMarch 15, 2023
L’Orville: new horizons played it safe with its final two episodes of season three, with a game plan in place to either cancel or renew it. The penultimate episode, “Domino,” was filled with new developments and clear setups for where Season 4 will go, assuming the series gets renewed. The season 3 finale, ironically titled “Future Unknown,” served as a capstone to the adventures the series has had thus far and could serve as a full-fledged series finale.
That said, Chad L. Coleman’s recent comments make me more optimistic than ever the orville will live to see season 4. I’m really looking forward to seeing how the new alliance between the Planetary Union and the Kaylons fares against the Moclan and Krill allies they lost, so I hope more positive news from season 4 isn’t too far away. .
If you are looking to watch L’Orville: new horizons now, Disney+ (opens in a new tab) and Hulu are the places to do it. Hopefully we’ll get some updates on the series soon, and maybe even some news that makes us think we won’t have to worry about the series ending for a while.
