Waiting to reveal the first images of season 3 of The Bridgerton ChronicleNetflix has just released an excerpt from its spin-off series, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.
This series dedicated to Queen Charlotte, which will be broadcast in 2023 on Netflix, will take place during her youth. We will also follow the first steps of Violet Bridgerton and Lady Danbury.
“I am delighted that this new series allows us to develop his story and that of Bridgerton,” said Bela Bajaria, Netflix’s head of television content, in 2021.
Adapted from the historical novels of Julia Quinn, The Bridgerton Chronicle It takes place in 1813 in England, under the regency of the Prince of Wales. It is the first series made for Netflix under the aegis of Shonda Rhimes (Grey’s Anatomy).
Soon the third season
The series has been a great success on Netflix, establishing itself as one of the most watched content on the platform. The third season follows the romance between Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) and Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan).
This storyline was briefly mentioned at the end of Season 2, which was devoted to the relationship between Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey) and Kate (Simone Ashley). The first season represented the love of Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor) and Simon (Regé-Page Jean).
This season 3 will be the one of all the changes: Chris Van Dusen gives his place as showrunner to Jess Brownell. And Ruby Sokes (Francesca Bridgerton) is replaced by Hannah Dodd after landing the lead role in the Netflix series. lockwood and company
