The National Refoundation Council launched on September 8 will give birth this Monday to a site where Internet users can be consulted, in order to feed the thematic and territorial CNRs, two of which on education and health will be launched on the same day, the Elysee announced.
Those interested will be able to “choose their favorite topics” on this site, whether on ecological transition, aging or even the production model, and answer “the first basic questions that will feed the next thematic CNRs,” the presidency specified.
Maps and infographics, showing how projects are developed on the ground, will enrich the site in the fall.
“The idea is to get out of the logic of large queries” and “for the site to grow with them” (the citizens), with “real-time feed (of the site)” with a view to “building public action in real time” , it specifies.
Two CNRs on school and health planned
Launching the CNR on September 8 in Marcoussis (Essonne), President Emmanuel Macron announced the launch of a “very broad national consultation” online and in the field to place the French “within the great options of the nation” .
Two thematic and territorial CNRs on school and health are also launched on Monday, while other CNRs on old age or ecological transition are pending.
The CNR on health will take place in Sarthe. The one on education will begin with a training on Monday for representatives of the academies in the Ministry of Education. Then, Minister Pap Ndiaye will visit schools in Eure-et-Loir and Martinique.
An initiative rejected at its launch
The CNR, which is supposed to mobilize the active forces of the country, but was rejected at its launch by the opposition and some unions, must meet again in full in December.
Four thematic CNRs will address “the great transitions”, ecological, demographic, transition of the productive model and social model, and the future of work, to which will be added another three CNRs on housing, youth and digital technology.
“The ministry is not the only one doing the work. It works with all the actors from the diagnosis to the development of solutions”, underlines one in the Elysee.
The second stage of the NRCs refers to “territorial” NRCs, such as schools and health, to “return power to those who do it, on the ground.”
