The Prime Minister, António Costa, will return to parliament on Wednesday, September 27. The presence of the head of government thus marks the return of the fortnightly debates.
The schedule was set last Wednesday at the Leaders’ Conference meeting, which lasted about two and a half hours.
A discussion on the measures of the program was also planned at the same meeting. More housingvetoed by Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, President of the Republic. Knowing that the PS intends to confirm the diploma, the measures will go to plenary on September 21.
The government bill on tobacco will be discussed on 28 September. And on the 29th, it will be the turn to discuss another proposal from the Executive aimed at strengthening consumer protection.
In the debate with the Prime Minister, the new rules, approved with the revision of the Rules of Procedure of the Assembly, which were concluded before the parliamentary holiday, will therefore already be in force.
