The opinion of Alexis Goosdeel, director of the European Monitoring Center for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA), came at the end of the conference “Exposure to cannabis in adolescence and health”, which took place this Tuesday at the Assembly of the Republic (organized by the Citizens’ Initiative for the Responsible Regulation of Cannabis for Adult Use) and briefly summarizes what was heard there all day: Cannabis is not a harmless substance without risks, especially for children and adolescents, but the biggest risk is that it remains illegal.
