Government fires CEGER director and AMA president

The government, at its request, has fired the director of the government’s Informatics Network Management Center (CEGER) and members of the board of directors of the Agency for Administrative Modernization (AMA), according to orders published this Thursday.

Tito Soares Vieira, appointed director of CEGER in February 2017, saw his service committee renewed in December 2021, but requested his resignation from his position, according to the order published today by the Secretary of State for Digitization and Administrative Modernization, Mário Campolargo.

“I, at his own request, release Master Tito Carlos Soares Vieira from the post of Director of the Government’s Informatics Network Management Center,” said in the order that will come into effect on August 31.

In another order, also published today, Mário Campolargo, at his request, releases the members of the Board of Directors of the Agency for Administrative Modernization, all of whom have been appointed on a replacement basis.

“I leave, at their own request, the graduate Maria de Fátima Vieira de Andrade e Sousa Madureira (appointed in October 2020), the master Sara Maria Pinto Carrasqueiro Sequeira (March 2018) and the graduate Paulo Manuel Múrias Bessone Mauritti (April 2018) free 2018), respectively the positions of chairman and members of the management board of the Agency for Administrative Modernization”, read on the diploma.
