“When did a demonstration fill the fridge?”: Attal mocks LFI’s “march against high prices”

The Nupes rebels and their allies are organizing a huge march in Paris this Sunday to criticize the government’s responses to inflation.

During the debate organized this Monday in the National Assembly on a motion to reject the 2023 budget, the delegate minister of Public Accounts Gabriel Attal got angry with La France Insoumise.

“You don’t know how to explain to the French what you would do to protect the French. You prefer to demonstrate. When a demonstration filled the fridge of the French? You don’t want to debate because it’s difficult,” the minister launched.

“It is better to have a demonstration than with Gabriel Attal”

In fact, Jean-Luc Mélenchon’s party is organizing a “march against the high cost of living” on October 16. The rebels were joined in their initiative by the PS, the EELV and, more recently, by the communists. The goal? Denounce government responses to inflation.

In social networks, the words of the former government spokesman have reacted anyway. In a tweet, the LFI deputy for Bouches-du-Rhône, Manuel Bompard, declared: “It is better to have a demonstration than Gabriel Attal to fill the fridge. See you this Sunday, October 16 at 2:00 p.m. in Paris “.
