I have already dedicated eight years of my life to public affairs, but I am always available to serve the country, both in government positions and in my academic life,” the minister said, when asked about his availability, taking into account the fact that he expressed his support for the candidate Pedro Nuno Santos for the next Secretary General of the PS.
On what he would respond if challenged to continue in office, João Costa said it was still “speculation”, emphasizing that he would prefer that the country not go through the current political crisis, especially since there is a program must be completed. until 2026.
