The LFI deputy for Loire-Atlantique, Andy Kerbrat, admitted this Tuesday, October 22, to having been caught buying narcotics and announced that he was starting a “care protocol.”
The elected official tells X that he was searched on October 17 “in possession of narcotics.” According to Current Values information that revealed the matter, he was in possession of 1.35 grams of 3-MMC, a synthetic drug on the rise in France.
The MP heard in a free hearing
Andy Kerbrat was not arrested, but was heard the next day at the police station in open court.
He says that he puts himself “at the disposal of the courts” who will summon him “within the framework of a criminal order”, adding that he will “fight against his addiction” and “follow a treatment protocol” to be able to resume his parliamentary activity.
3-MMC is booming in France, especially in partisan circles, and is taken like cocaine at half the price.
