A formula far from having fun. Marine Le Pen reacted this Thursday, April 10 in the words of last weekend by Gabriel Attal on Thursday against him. On Sunday, April 6, during a meeting of the presidential coalition, the former prime minister responded to the head of the deputies of RN, sentenced to the first instance in the case of European parliamentary assistants.
“Full, you pay,” said Gabriel Attal, seeming to take one of the old formulas “that breaks, repairs.”
“I think Sébastien Chenu responded very well: ‘You ruin, release,” said Marine Le Pen a Hemicycle TV, depliating an “argument of such weakness, of such banks (which) is not worthy of a former prime minister.”
“No more than a former prime minister is worthy of the violation of the presumption of innocence,” he added.
“It is a new test that opens”
Sentenced on March 31 to four years in prison, including two farms organized under electronic bracelet, a fine of 100,000 euros and a sentence of immediate inelegability for a period of 5 years, the leader of the national demonstration had announced appeal shortly after the pronouncement of the judicial decision.
“When we call a criminal trial, this sentence disappears and we arrive before the Court of Appeals and it is a new trial that opens and during the duration between the first and the second, it is presumed innocent,” Marine Le Pen continued.
The head of the deputies of RN, who can expect a trial and a decision on the summer of 2026, “does not intend to abandon this principle, which is one of the founding principles of the rule of law.”
