Is the national rally ready to censor François Bayrou in the next few days? With the focus of the final meeting of the conclave of social partners on pension reform, the distant part has not officially decided this problem, when the keys to the future of the Prime Minister could have.
In the RTL microphone, Jean-Philippe Tanguy, vice president of the group of deputies of RN, delayed this Friday, June 20. “We will judge in pieces,” we will advance to the elected Somme official. “We do not know what Mr. Bayrou wants to do what happened, or not in another place, in the conclave and what decisions will be made.”
A certain prudence that contrasts with its usual offensive tone and that, in general, questions with respect to the positions of the RN. In fact, he opposes retirement at age 64, despite certain reversions, illustrated in particular by his president Jordan Bardella during the last campaign of the legislative elections.
“The return at 62 was not a red line”
However, it seems acquired that this age criterion will not be subject to an evolution at the end of the conclave, even if social couples reach an agreement, employers oppose any change in this issue.
Insumise France has made a reason for censorship and wants to present a motion. The socialists, exerted pressure on François Bayrou this week, ensuring the head of Government that if this issue of pensions were not in Parliament after the conclave, they would be ready to overthrow it.
What, in fact, can carry the extreme right of playing a role in the maintenance or fall of the government, their voices become decisive in case of voting to the entire left.
However, Jean-Philippe Tanguy says that “the return to 62 was not a red line with this government.”
“Why? Because? As from the moment we entered a serious negotiation (…) Macronists and the Republicans were against, so we said we were ironed in 2027,” the parliamentarian continues, referring this question to a possible victory of RN in the next presidential elections.
However, this close to Marine Le Pen acknowledges that the lack of agreement between social couples could raise certain problems in their eyes: “We could have negotiated new rights for women whose careers are discriminated and whose pensions are not up to their efforts. We could have seen efforts in long careers or in working conditions. This is a penalty that we would like to listen.
Marine Le Pen’s shadow
If Jean-Philippe Tanguy does not completely take the possibility of censorship, however specifying that “Marine Le Pen and Jordan Bardella will decide” about the position of the party, others have been more direct, such as Laurent Jacobelli.
“According to the principle, censorship does not scare us,” but “we obviously expect the budget, (…) where everything will probably be proposed,” said RMC deputy and spokesman on Wednesday.
It should be said that censorship is a question particularly sensitive to RN for at least two reasons. The first refers to Marine Le Pen. Condemned to an inelegability judgment with immediate execution in the first instance for embezzlement of public funds in the case of parliamentary assistants of the FN, the deputy of Pas-de-Calais, who appealed, could not present his mandate in stake if new legislative elections were held.
However, when censoring the government, the distant part would run this risk because President Emmanuel Macron will soon be able to dissolve the National Assembly again if he wishes, soon a year after the last legislative elections.
In addition to the judicial future of Marine Le Pen, censorship raises another question for the RN. Are you ready to be accused of being responsible for a certain instability in the country in case of favorable voting, when you have sought precisely being noted for years?
