OE2023: Social energy tariff extended to families with an income of up to 6,272 euros

Access to the social energy tariff will be extended to families with a total annual income equal to or lower than 6,272 euros, following the approval this Tuesday of a PAN proposal to amend the National Budget for 2023.

In the vote taking place this afternoon in the Budget and Finance Committee, in parliament, the deputies approved the PAN proposal that changes the universe of “economically vulnerable” customers.

“Economically vulnerable is the end customer who is part of a household whose total annual income is equal to or less than (euro) 6,272.64 euros, plus 50% for each member of the household who does not earn an income, including his own income .up to 10″can be read in the proposal.

Until now, in addition to beneficiaries of social benefits, families whose total annual family income was equal to or less than EUR 5,808 plus 50% for each family member (up to a maximum of 10) could also benefit from the social rate. who has no income.
