RN, LFI, ps … how parliamentary groups position themselves to the “risk” of a solution

Could the François Bayroun’s fall lead to the dissolution of the National Assembly? This very uncertain hypothesis is not appreciated in the same way by the different political colors. BFMTV takes stock.

Although the vote of trust is celebrated on September 8, the spectrum of a new solution is approaching. This “risk”, in which only Emmanuel Macron has authority, is prepared by each of the parliamentary groups and continues to divide.

The entourage of the President of the Republic told BFMTV that a solution “is not his desire”, but that Emmanuel Macron will not deprive himself, a priori, of a constitutional power. “

A slightly open door that the prime minister had already pointed out, stating that the dissolution “remains a hypothesis”, during a meeting in Matignon with the common base.

• For law, dissolution “is not the solution”

Either the modem, together or horizons, the majority groups of the majority share the same common position against dissolution. A consensus validated during meetings organized by François Bayrou in Matignon.

For Laurent Wauquiez, president of the Parliamentary Group of Republicans, the dissolution “is not a solution,” he said in the BFMTV set.

“Surveys, voting intentions show very clearly that a solution will give approximately the same result, that is, there is no majority,” he said, claiming that “instability is catastrophic for the country.”

• They refuse to add “from chaos to chaos”

The elected officials of the Libertés, Independent, abroad and territories (Liot) group do not want, “add chaos to chaos” and reject “the logic of dissolution,” says an advisor to the parliamentary group in BFMTV.

The deputies want to believe in a “commitment in the budget,” he adds, specifying as a condition the arrival of a new prime minister “independent of the president” to avoid a “risk of third failure.” The group wants to “be part of the majority of the National Union to last another year and a half” and power “calmly” prepare the next elections.

• The PS is preparing but does not want

“If there is a solution, we want to be ready for the PS. We work there,” said Boris Vallaud, with liberation. Therefore, in the “vision of the situation of the country”, the president of the parliamentary group says that it does not expect dissolution and does not demand a resignation to Emmanuel Macron because these “circumstances would not allow a serious and peaceful campaign.”

A position that goes hand in hand with that of the environmental and social group, which also shares the desire of a prime minister of his camp. To “leave the impasse”, it is necessary to “give power to the Parliament” after “eight years of hyperprésidencialism”, intimate a letter written by the deputies of the group.

“Each game is preparing, we are all ready since July 8,” said Léa Baleage El Mariky, joined by BFMTV.com. The deputy of the 3rd District of Paris wants to believe in the appearance of a government from the left, advocating “respect for parliamentary institutions and practices, as well as without resource to 49.3”.

In case of dissolution, the deputy calls to reform the “perimeter of the agreements” that saw the birth of the new popular front to the previous legislative elections of which he has the ambition to “preserve” the number of armchairs in the National Assembly by going “to seek victories in the field of RN”.

• The favorable rn on a return of “ultra fasta to the polls

In this campaign, the national rally seems to have a firmer line than the rest of the political class. At the end of his meeting with François Bayrou in Matignon, deputy Marine Le Pen, sentenced for embezzlement of public funds to an inelegability judgment with provisional execution, said he wanted “an ultra fast solution.”

“I consider that it is inevitable, but will it happen on Monday? I don’t know,” explains a deputy of the extreme right -wing party in BFMTV, who trusts the theme of the two RN leaders:

“In the short term, I don’t have the impression that Marine really believes in it. She wants us to prepare for it, but do not believe it is Monday. They think it is the only solution, they are convinced, but they think they will try to give time to find another solution.”

• Floating positioning between rebel

At the moment, the isoumis parliamentary group has not explicitly positioned itself on the question of dissolution. Referring to “the need to move on,” Jean-Luc Mélenchon only recalled the desire of the party to present a motion to fire Emmanuel Macron.

Stéphane Little, president of the left and republican parliamentary group, on the other hand, determined in Franceinfo the probable alternatives, including “a resignation of the president, a dissolution of the National Assembly or a referendum” without saying which solution adheres more.
