The Head of State will say “the sadness and compassion of France after the barbarian acts committed by the Hamas terrorist group on October 7, 2023 in Israel” and its “unwavering support for the families of the hostages”, “held in inhuman conditions for more than 700 days,” said the presidency.
“It will specify that France, with its partners and as part of the initiatives that it has launched, does everything possible to reach the release of all hostages still retained, in support of the mediation efforts of Qatar, Egyptian and American,” he added.
