The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Resignation, Jean-Noël Barot, announced this Friday, September 12 that the Russian ambassador to France “will be summoned this morning” to Quai d’Orsay in reaction to the intrusion of Russian drones in Poland on Tuesday night to Wednesday.
“These incursions are absolutely unacceptable,” Inter.
“We are going to tell him (…) that we will not be intimidated, that NATO and his allies have a defensive and deterrent vocation that is the most powerful in the world and that we must stop trying and try to intimidate ourselves,” added Jean-Noël Barrot.
A new “provocation”
Considered deliberate by Warsaw, the emergence of 19 alleged Russian drones in Polish airspace at night from Tuesday to Wednesday, in the middle of the Ukraine War, caused a shore among European allies.
According to Warsovia, 19 drones entered the Polish airspace at night from Tuesday to Wednesday. At least three drones, “Russian manufacturing,” according to Polish diplomacy, Radoslaw Sikorski, were killed by the Polish army and his NATO allies. There were no injuries.
According to the Polish Ministry of Defense, the drones have taken off from the Russian regions of Brita, Koursk, Orel and Krasnodar, and occupied Crimea. Russian authorities have denied any participation, accusing Warsaw of not having advanced any material evidence.
“Intentional or not, accidental or not, all this is very serious. All this is absolutely unacceptable. All this is added to the innumerable provocations of Vladimir Putin,” said Jean-Noël Barot this Friday.
