The Ensemble pour Conflans collective has its headliner. The opposition group, without a label, from the city of Yvelines, will organize around Aurore Ambert for the 2026 municipal elections.
Mickaël Littière, founder of said collective and former leader of Renaissance Yvelines, was expected to occupy this position. In the end it won’t be at the top of the list. “We chose a strong, sincere and deeply rooted candidacy in the values that unite us. That is why I decided to support Aurore Ambert,” explains the former deputy mayor on Facebook.
Former majority elected official
Elected in 2020 on the list of Laurent Brosse, mayor of Conflans, Aurore Ambert entered the opposition in June 2022, when Mickaël Littière was dismissed from his position as deputy. The opposition candidate was also a parliamentary assistant to Renaissance MP Nadia Hai.
“I have known Aurore for a long time. I have been able to measure her ability to listen, her energy and her determination to defend the general interest. She embodies what we want for Conflans: a city that finally looks to the future, with ambition, transparency and respect,” says Mickaël Littière.
To be chosen, Aurore Ambert is committed to five priorities: safety, living environment, family, solidarity and attractiveness. The candidate wants to strengthen the municipal police, local services, support for businesses and promote the heritage of Conflans.
On March 15 and 22, 2026, Aurore Ambert will notably oppose Laurent Brosse, the outgoing mayor. In office since 2014, he will try to run for a third term.
