“Contra rule” is the podcast launched today by BE’s coordinator, Catarina Martins, to “dispel prejudices and organize ideas”, a space for debate with guests from different quarters such as Francisca van Dunem, Alexandra Leitão, Pacheco Pereira or Sergio Godinho.
At the Lusa desk, Catarina Martins explains that for this podcast – the episodes of which are released on Mondays – she has invited “people with different paths and opinions”.
“Politics, of course, but also sports or music. The podcast does not respond to the daily political agenda or the political-partisan debate, but focuses on fundamental themes of our collective life”refers.
Among the guests are former justice minister Francisca van Dunem, PS deputy and former minister Alexandra Leitão or former PSD deputy José Pacheco Pereira.
The interpreter and composer Sérgio Godinho, the judoka Telma Monteiro and the activist Ksenia Ashrafullina are other names that will appear in this “Against rule” with the BE leader.
“From institutionalized racism to European orthodoxy, from music as an expression of struggle to the oligarchy that finances Putin’s war. Sometimes we agree, sometimes we don’t. But by discussing ideas openly, we build roads”adds Catarina Martins to Lusa.
“And here we will have a podcast against the rule, but in which the rule is different: we talk to disorganize prejudices and organize ideas”emphasizes.
Every week, Catarina Martins continues, “a guest, another guest for these conversations on topics as different as politics in its various forms” where you are in your life.
