As his day in Barcelona, where he went to sign a Franco-Spanish cooperation treaty, was drawing to a close, Emmanuel Macron found himself caught up in the French news. And more precisely mobilizing against the pension reform project carried out by his government.
Indeed, while the President of the Republic was speaking before an audience of French expatriates, a spectator wearing a T-shirt hostile to this executive project was evacuated by the security service.
“No to your pension reform”
The Head of State spoke this Thursday afternoon before an audience of French residents in Barcelona. Approximately ten minutes after his speech, a security guard removed a man from this floor before leading him out of the room. Obviously in question: his shirt. In it we could read “No to your pension reform.” It should be noted that according to the filmed images of the event, everything took place in the greatest calm.
If it seems that the man did not say anything, nor did he shout, nor did he try to interrupt the speaker in any way, the entourage of the President of the Republic explained this evacuation by the fact that Emmanuel Macron’s speech at the time did not constitute a political meeting.
