The report on possible information leaks in documents from the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry (CPI) to TAP was handed over to the President of the Republic’s Assembly on Tuesday, a source in his office confirmed to Lusa.
The report, written by Alexandra Leitão, chair of the parliament’s transparency committee, will now be handed over to the CPI, according to the procedure decided by Santos Silva.
The internal investigation was requested by the President of the General Assembly, following two requests – from the former President of the CPI, Seguro Sanches, and the current, Lacerda Sales – reporting on the disclosure of content, documents and elements contained in the document archive of the CPI and subject to confidentiality.
The document addressed to Santos Silva by Lacerda Sales concerned information published by a daily newspaper containing communications between members of the government regarding the resignation for cause of the former executive president of TAP.
