The governments of Angola and Portugal signed this Monday 13 bilateral cooperation agreementsespecially in economic and financial domainsat a ceremony presided over by Angolan Head of State João Lourenço and Portuguese Prime Minister António Costa.
Finance Minister Fernando Medina and Foreign Minister João Gomes Cravinho signed the agreements increasing the corporate credit line from €1.5 billion to €2 billion; and the Strategic Cooperation Program (PEC) 2023/2027.
The agreements covered an agreement between the Ports of Sines and Algarve and the Sociedade de Desenvolvimento da Barra do Dande and, among other things, on training and laboratory support for food safety – a memorandum involving criminal investigations in this area.
Agência Lusa signed a training protocol with the Angolan Journalist Training Center.
In statements to journalists, the Portuguese Prime Minister said the number of 13 agreements had been reached because Caixa Geral de Depósitos concluded three financing contracts in recent days.
