FC Porto beat team B in preseason. Fran Navarro and Wendel score again

This Saturday, FC Porto tested positive in a training match at Olival, beating team B 3-0, with goals from reinforcements Fran Navarro, Toni Martínez and Wendel Silva.

During the week, the ‘dragons’ had already beaten Académica (Liga 3), 4-0, in a match in which Fran Navarro and Wendell also scored, along with Danny Namaso and Gonçalo Borges.

In this Saturday’s rehearsal, the coach Sérgio Conceição took the opportunity to present a wide range of players, namely Cláudio Ramos, Samuel Portugal, Francisco Meixedo, Dinis Rodrigues, João Marcelo, David Carmo, Wendell, Rodrigo Fernandes, Vasco Sousa , Abraham Marcus, Gonçalo Borges, Wendel Silva, Toni Martínez, André Franco, Bernardo Folha, Danny Namaso, Fábio Cardoso, Fran Navarro, Galeno, João Mendes, Marcano, Pepê and Romário Baró.

Out due to injuries were João Mário, Gabriel Veron and Evanilson, who were doing conditioning training.

The national runners-up have a rest on Sunday and return to training on Monday morning, always at Olival, before traveling to the Algarve, where they will train, as has been the case in recent years, until July 26.

During the training period, the team has some friendlies planned: against Portimonense (July 19), against Cardiff (22nd), against Wolverhampton (25th), a team coached by former FC Porto coach Julen Lopetegui.

On July 26 there is a new training match, against the recently promoted Estrela da Amadora.

The first official match of the ‘dragons’ will be the Cândido de Oliveira Super Cup, against their rival Benfica, national champion, in a match scheduled for August 8 or 9.
