Onana leaves Inter Milan and signs for Manchester United until 2028

Cameroonian goalkeeper André Onana will represent Manchester United for the next five seasons, until 2028, after having played last season for Italians Inter Milan, the English soccer league club announced Thursday.

“André Onana signed a contract with Manchester United until June 2028, with an option for one more year, subject to international authorization,” said the British shield, on the official website, without disclosing the amounts involved in the transfer, although the British media indicate that the change cost around 51 million euros (EM).

Onana, who won an Italian Cup and an Italian Super Cup for the ‘Nerazzurri’ and reached the final of the last edition of the Champions League, joins Manchester United to fill the vacancy left open by the Spanish David de Gea, who ended his contract with the club after 12 years.
