This Thursday, Benfica made official the signing of Arthur Cabral from Fiorentina for 20 million euros, which could rise to 25 million, if undisclosed objectives are met.
The 25-year-old Brazilian striker comes to Luz to replace Gonçalo Ramos, with a contract until 2028 and a termination clause of 100 million euros, reveals the club in a statement sent to the Securities and Markets Commission (CMVM).
Arthur Cabral arrives at Benfica after having scored 19 goals in 64 games with Fiorentina and having been the top scorer in the last edition of the Conference League. He previously played in Palmeiras (two games), Ceará (46 games and 11 goals) and Basel (106 games and 65 goals).
This is the eagles’ second official announcement this Thursday, after signing Anatoliy Trubin from Shakhtar.

Sport Lisboa e Benfica – Futebol, SAD informs that it has reached an agreement with ACF Fiorentina for the acquisition of all the rights of the player Arthur Cabral, for an amount of €20,000,000 (twenty million euros), at to which an additional amount of €5,000,000 (five million euros) is added, paid according to predefined objectives.
Finally, a sports employment contract was signed with said player for 5 (five) seasons, which runs until June 30, 2028, which includes a termination clause for an amount of €100,000,000 (one hundred million euros).” .
