Casa Pia made its debut this Saturday in the best way in the 2023/24 Portuguese Football League, beating Farense 3-0, in a match corresponding to the first day of the competition, in Faro.
Clayton, in the 15th minute, Paulo Roberto, in the 64th minute, and Godwin, in the 90th minute, scored the goals for the Lisbon team, which “sponsored” the return of the Algarve to the top flight, after having been runner-up in the II Liga la last season.
The victory allows Casa Pia to match Famalicão and also the provisional leader Gil Vicente, all with three points, after Famalicenses beat Sporting de Braga (2-1) on Friday, and Gil Vicente thrashed Portimonense today (5 -0).
