The Saudis from Al Nassr, coached by the Portuguese Luís Castro, qualified for the group stage of the Asian Champions League in football on Tuesday after beating Shabab Al-Ahli (4-2) with a comeback, close to the Final.
On the day Al Nassr overtook the arrival of Portugal’s Otávio, from FC Porto, Riyadh’s crest overtook an opponent from the United Arab Emirates, thanks to late goals from Sultan Al Ghannam (88 minutes), Anderson Talisca (90+ 5) and Brozovic (90+7), the latter assisted by Cristiano Ronaldo.
Earlier, Talisca had opened the scoring just after eleven minutes, with the Emirates crest restoring equality and moving to the top of the scoreboard, close to the end, thanks to accurate shots from Yahya Alghassani (18 and 46).
At the end of the match, Cristiano Ronaldo vehemently criticized one of the referees of the match, uttering the words: “waking!” [acorda!]before pushing a member of Shabab Al-Ahli’s technical team.
