These Sporting SAD accounts show the second best accumulated result of the last ten years, in two consecutive years.
This Friday, Sporting made public the report and accounts for the 2022/2023 financial year, from which it appears that turnover was 222 million euros, the largest in history. The main reason was due to the increase in results from the sale of player passes by 22.7 million euros.
The report and accounts show that liabilities were reduced by 27.4 million euros and positive equity of 8.9 million euros was recovered. This data shows that it is important for the SAD, because it has not been able to take this step since 2016/2017.
In the report sent to the CMVM, Sporting’s SAD reflects an increase in the club’s participation in the Public Limited Company, from 63.8% to 83.9%. These values are associated with the conversion of VMOC into SAD shares. An operation that allowed the increase of share capital from 67 million euros to 150.6 million.
