Miguel Oliveira hopes to “score points” in the debut of the MotoGP Indian GP

The Portuguese rider Miguel Oliveira (Aprilia) hopes to “score points” in the debut of the Indian Grand Prix on the MotoGP World Championship calendar, next weekend.

In statements released by the press service of the RNF Aprilia team, Miguel Oliveira affirms that the Indian circuit “will be a challenge at all levels for the drivers, the machines and the teams.”

Even so, the Almada pilot affirms that he believes he can “do a good job.”

“We are focused on a quick and effective adaptation” to the circuit, highlighted Miguel Oliveira.

After a sixth place in the main race of the San Marino Grand Prix two weeks ago, the Aprilia satellite team rider emphasizes that the objective “continues to be the search for the best possible performance” with the bike.

“We will look to score points in both races,” concluded the Portuguese driver.

The Indian GP is the 13th of the season’s 20 races and marks the debut of the Buddh circuit in the world sprint championship.

The Italian Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati) arrives as the leader of the championship, with 283 points, while Miguel Oliveira is 13th, with 65.
