Sporting seeks to tie FC Porto at the top of the Portuguese Football League, as it travels to Vila do Conde to face Rio Ave, in a match that closes the sixth day.
Encouraged by two consecutive victories at home, in the league preview against Moreirense (3-0) and on Thursday against Sturm Graz (2-1) in their Europa League debut, the ‘lions’ travel to Vila do Conde to try to reach first place in the I Liga, after the previous leader, Boavista, was defeated on Sunday by Sporting de Braga (4-1).
