“Matheus Nunes was declared clinically unfit after tests for the two national team matches against Liechtenstein and Iceland. The player will no longer travel to Zurich with the rest of the national delegation this afternoon,” said an FPF statement.
The Manchester City midfielder, who did not train today, is the fifth victim in Roberto Martínez’s selection, after the injured Pepe, Rafael Leão and Nélson Semedo, who was replaced by Raphaël Guerreiro for personal reasons, and Diogo Dalot.
