Trackhouse Racing will become the team of the Portuguese Miguel Oliveira in the MotoGP World Championship in 2024, as a satellite of Aprilia, replacing RNF, which was left without a contract due to flaws in the participation agreement, the organizer confirmed on Monday.
“It’s an important moment for Trackhouse. When our team was founded, the goal was to go beyond NASCAR. In motorsports there are no boundaries. This moment is incredible for our company”explains the American Justin Marks, owner of the project.
The businessman, who founded the Trackhouse Entertainment Group three years ago to compete in NASCAR, was thus offered a spot in the CryptoDATA RNF Aprilia to compete in the World Speed Motorcycling Championship.

“I love all kinds of motorsports. This year I was at the Austrian GP and I was blown away by what I saw. When I got home I thought ‘why don’t I go to MotoGP?’ I spoke to Dorna, the opportunity arose with Aprilia and we didn’t hesitate.”the millionaire summarized.
Justin Marks has previously met Miguel Oliveira and the Spaniard Raul Fernández, the two drivers of the former RNF who will continue next year.
Aprilia CEO Massimo Rivola spoke out “super motivated” with the new project: “Our visions are coming together. We don’t have much time left, but we have a lot of motivation to recover it. We are super motivated, I love the project, the attitude and the vision we share”.

Carlos Ezpeleta, head of Dorna, the company that organizes the World Championship, experienced the “very special moment” with Trackhouse’s entry into MotoGP.

Miguel Oliveira, whose participation in this year’s World Cup ended prematurely after a crash in the sprint race of the Qatar GP, the penultimate on the calendar, on November 18, causing a fracture in his right shoulder blade, will retain the number 88 in 2024 .
