Tondela and Sporting are playing this Saturday for the last place in the League Cup semi-finals, the day the group stage ends with FC Porto, holder of the trophy, hosting Leixões, both already eliminated.
The lions lead Group C after beating Farense, and the Algarve team had already beaten Tondela, so Sporting only needs one point to guarantee passage to the next phase. The group winner will face SC Braga in the semi-finals.
