The teams of Morocco and Croatia managed, this Thursday, to qualify for the round of 16 of the 2022 World Cup, in Qatar. The Moroccans beat Canada 1-2 and benefited from a 0-0 draw between the Croats and Belgium to take the lead in Group F of the competition, with seven points from three games.
Croatia picked up five points from the same three games and secured second place in the round of 16, unlike Belgium, who is on track with just four points. Canada has lost every game they have played and packs without earning any points.
Hakim Ziyech, in the fourth minute, and Youssef En Nesyri, in the 23rd minute, sealed the victory for Morocco, who even scored an own goal in the 40th minute, by Nayef Aguerd, while the Croatians, second in 2018, maintained the ‘null’ against the Belgians, the 3rd.
